Richard Castor Jeffery - Director

Before establishing Fit Architects in 2009, Richard was a Senior Associate at Ferguson Mann Architects in Bristol, where he was responsible for the design and delivery of some of the practice’s key projects. Prior to this, Richard worked for a number of internationally recognised award-winning practices, notably Bennetts Associates, David Chipperfield Architects, Rick Mather Architects and Tim Ronalds Architects in London. He also spent two years in Dublin working for O’Donnell & Tuomey Architects, winners of the 2015 RIBA Royal Gold Medal.
Richard’s experience spans a wide range of sectors, including residential, arts & leisure, education and commercial. Projects of note that Richard has been involved with at previous practices include: the award-winning Blackwood Golf Club and Photographic Centre with O’Donnell & Tuomey in Ireland; ISMA Centre, Reading with Rick Mather Architects; Circus Restaurant with David Chipperfield; the Annie Lawson Special-Needs School, London with Bennetts Associates and Lake Shore for Urban Splash with FMA in Bristol.
A skilled designer, model-maker, draughtsman and visualiser, Richard has had work exhibited across Europe, including at the Royal Academy in London.

Bridget Salter – Senior Architect
Before joining Fit Architects in 2014, Bridget was Project Architect at Jackson Clements Burrows in Melbourne, Australia, where she ran her own team on a variety of residential and community projects, notably the Keast Park community pavilion (pictured).
Prior to working in Australia, Bridget worked for thirteen years at Conran & Partners in London, leading teams on a number of restaurant, hotel, retail and residential schemes, running high-end projects from conception through to completion.
A talented and accomplished designer, Bridget also expands her interests beyond the confines of architecture, practicing ceramic design and studying in the field of art-therapy.
